Assignments with Environmental Policy Innovation Center (EPIC, Water Utility Funding (federal and state levels)), Keystone Engineering Group (Water Automation / SCADA), MOR Construction (large Water infrastructure projects), and more.

Served as a Senior Executive for some of the largest, global water and wastewater services companies including:

Inframark - Responsible for a team that contributed new growth and expansion of existing business from $180M/year to over $500M/year annual revenue, including acquisitions;  expanded Inframark’s delivery options from short-term O&M contracts to longer-term O&M, Design Build Operate, and DBFO&M offerings. These offerings focus on emerging markets, including beneficial reuse and brackish water RO facilities in the municipal and industrial sectors. Executive team member responsible for positioning the company for sale to private equity, which we sold the company twice while I led growth for the organization. Responsible for rebranding the organization and updating all marketing and communications materials

Parsons -  Proven results in leading teams developing extensive engineering and construction projects throughout the US and Canada. Service offerings include Public-Private-Partnerships, Design Build, program management, design, and construction management; examples of success include developing and closing a $250M DB projects, a $600 capex CM project, and many $200M capex CM and program management deals. Tim Male, PhD

Timothy Male, PhD, founded the Environmental Policy Innovation Center in 2017. EPIC is a 50-person non-profit with teams focused on water infrastructure finance and technology deployment for environmental purposes.

Prior to launching this startup, he served as an Associate Director at the White House Council on Environmental Quality, Vice President for Conservation Policy at Defenders of Wildlife, Director at National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, and Co-Director of agriculture policy at Environmental Defense Fund.

He holds degrees in biology from Yale University and the University of Hawaii. His writing has appeared in the Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Science magazine and a diversity of peer-reviewed journals.

He has received a Marshall Memorial Fellowship and AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellowship (declined).

He is well known for his work in water infrastructure strategy and environmental markets.
